The video wasn't really done professionally.. it was just Katy goofing around with her friends and band pretty much.

I love Katy Perry's musical sense of humor, but......

LS is actually one of my album favorites, and it is because of the way Kelly sings it. KP sounds like a donkey in heat - not that I've ever seen or heard a donkey in heat, but that's what it has to sound like, with apologies to any realy donkeys out there.

I liked Katy's version. It is not really a competition between the two. Katy's voice reminds me Linda Perry (lead singer 4 non-blondes?) because I can listen to it on a song by song basis but not for hours and hours.

As for the production value of the video - it reminds me of Christina Aguilara's What A Girl Wants.

this is why i was so nervous when i heard long shot was on the album. but after hearing kelly sing it i love it. katy made me hate it in the first place.

Katy's version sounds like she's gasping for air. Surely to god that couldn't be the final version of that she recorded, I thought it seemed more like a demo.
