haha .. Her mom was SO sweet! I was actually running around like a crazy person trying to find Donna since she said that she had a m&g and would give the CD to her. I was just screaming her name looking for her. I just found random people who got m&gs and I saw a big group of people down by the stage, so I went there. I was calling for Donna and someone was like Kelly's mom is right there. I talked to her and was like I don't know if you know about the Express, and she went off saying she loves it and that she goes there everytime. She said that she saw here that Steven Tyler was at the show, and all this stuff about Kelly, so when Kelly calls her, she's like how do you know this stuff? I'm sorry, but I don't know who you were but you were so supportive of me and I put you on the CD. You pointed it out to her mom. She was saying how hard we worked on the CDs, and stuff like that, letting her mom know the effort. I also talked to her mom about some stuff like me going to Appalachian State and driving through Hickory a lot haha. I always think of her when I drive though. She said that she would have let us meet her, but Kelly was busy with the m&gs and they were leaving right afterwards. That's alright, I'm just glad to know that the CD got in the right hands. I was trying to get her attention during the show, but she didn't see the CD. She was watching me during random songs though. I was like alright so she's looking at me, act cool.

great show. some electrical/sound/monitor problems tonight, particularly evident in Home, BD, and Breakaway, but kel handled'em all like a pro. i agree with whoever said she was riffin it up on thankful tonight. fun stuff - that's STILL my favorite song.

ri-DANG-diculous storm nailed me right as i was fixin to leave to go pick up stuff for the show. looked like something you'd see in a movie staring charlton heston....held me up from getting there as early as i'd've liked. at least the storm didn't follow to the venue, that woulda sucked for the lawn folks.

rockin out at a kelly show with stuff? couldn't a asked for a better concert buddy tonight. you rock girl. please don't revoke my southern-ness because i don't drink tea....at least i DO know that there are no additional questions that go along with ordering tea, right (if you order tea, it IS sweet and it IS iced, there ain't another way). geez...any of y'all that've met either of us -- heehee. nooooo, we don't have accents.....you do! and oh lord, put us together?! we could be our own episode of HeeHaw, or at least featured performers at Dollywood...... be careful back to 'bama, ya hear? roll tide.

saw mandie pass the cd to kelmomma after the show. well done. ms. jeanne gushed about the express -- she loves us, y'all! she is here. frequently. we ARE her kelly cnn. keep up the good work!

i thought rooney was better tonight than last. i was kinda put off by them for whatever reason last night. today was better. and loved the fan they brought on stage. she rocked OUT with that tambourine. mad janglin skills on that chick.

my tour's over. man, that was friggin GREAT while it lasted. y'all have fun on the rest of the dates, be safe, rock on.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that was a great show!!! I've never heard better live vocals in my LIFE! I tried to get video of the new songs and did and WILL put them up tomorrow. They're not spectacular, in fact from 8 rows back they're below average quality but who am I not to share with my fellow Kelly fans. I also had my sister record audio with my cell on all the new songs (so we could just watch and enjoy the oldies but goodies) but as we were to the left of the stage in front of speakers it's even poorer quality than the videos I'm thinking. No telling when I can have that up, I hope someone got better than me. I barely bothered with pictures, I knew someone else there would do better on that avenue. I had 10X more fun at this concert in Charlotte than the one for the Independent Tour, it was nice not to get yelled at for standing AND no one said a thing about my taking video albiet I was being as discreet as possible thus the motion sickness when you watch. Saw Kelly's mom and pointed her out to others around me, she seemed super nice posing with fans ballsy enough to approach her. I loved when Kelly sang Breakaway in the back to the lawn, that was cute. She and her guitar player were SWEATY. I also had one wish for this concert, that she would cover Ray LaMontagne b/c I'm newly in love with him and that she'd cover Marc Broussard since he's a local boy from a nearby city in Louisiana where I'm from, and I listened to his CD on the way to the concert. I was screaming so loudly I forgot to whip out my camera. There were a few technical glitches, noticable during Home and Breakaway she kept pointing to her ear moniters and motioning or shrugging that she didn't know what was wrong and that she couldnt' hear herself. Didn't seem to matter since she sounded great and had the crowd singing along to back her up. I think she waved to my side once and I'm sure it was right at me. Just kidding, she had that affect on people.

All in all, worth the 8 hours of total drive time and MORE.

I went to the concert last night, and she was AMAZING! I was row e, center, just 3 rows infront of the catwalk! VIPS, they were amazing! It was REALLY hot, even worse then the Raleigh concert..but I'm still trying to decide which one was better ..Raleigh or Charlotte..because she hit EVERYTHING! Addicted, was awesome, she hit all the high notes, Because of You, Hear Me, Go, Anymore, Miss Independent..gorgeousssss...ahh We didnt get the anthem or fireworks, but I can tell you this was the best 4th of July ever! When I met her though, she was so nice! I felt like I had known her for a long time, and shes soo gorgeous! My phone when off twice while I was in there with her, so BTHE kept playing and Kelly was like 'Oh wow!'hahaha it was so funny..she was laughing, ashley, emma, brooke was too...haha it was great.

I have to drive to Virginia, but I'm gonna write my review then type it up tonight so yall can read it! But right now I can tell you that yesterday was a good night! And Ii will ahve a review of the meet and greet and concert! I'm so sad its over though..but I cant wait to see her again!

My Charlotte Review and M&G story. *Kinda long!*

My Charlotte Review!

Well right after Rooney got off the stage the whole crowd was CRAZY! One group of people down towards the front of the stage started screaming "We love Kelly yes we do! We love Kelly how bout you?" Then they'd point at a certain point of the ampitheater and they would scream..haha it was awesome! It really did help get everyone pumped up!

When we all heard Shook Me All Night Long, The audience was all on their feet! Me and my friend Emma were probably one of the first to stand I think haha, but be immediately started screaming. Agh it was awesome!

Addicted - I love how they have the shadows, then violinist was awesome! Then when you see Kelly's shadow, its just "AGH!" haha, but I seriously don't know how she stays so still, I couldn't do that to save my life! But I love how she starts Addicted with "It's like I can't breathhhh" Then the curtains just fly away! amazingggggg!

Behind These Hazel Eyes - Awesome. I miss the wedding dress, but I know it would be gone at some point in time. She changed the lyrics to "Behind My Hazel Eyes."

Maybe - I don't know why but everytime I hear this song I think of Graham. haha. Lame, I know, but anyways, the girl knows how to write a song, I can't wait for the new album!

Gone- FUN! She got the crows to rock! hehe, she's so demanding, and she just has that power! I love it!

Anymore- I knew she'd be singing this song tonight because I saw the mic that she talks into, so I was really excited. I love this song too! It's so angry and fun! I just can't get enough of it! And I love the beginning when she's lying on the floor! AGH!! I loveeeee it!

Because of You- Oh my gosh, so I cried again at the end, haha. I swear this song can do that to me, but she nailed "The same damn thing" ! Everyone in the crowd was singing along. She was smiling the wole time. After it was over she thanked us for singing along with her and that it meant a lot to hear us singing a song back to her that she wrote.

Shelter- She told us about Ray LaMontague and how she had just heard his album recently and how it was a good album and that we should go buy it if you liked this next song. It was awesome, I loved it!!

Thankful- I'm glad she put some songs from the 'Thankful' album on the set list because those songs are just too dang good too! I liked the way the back ups helped her sing this song, they are really good!

Home- I love the back drop for this song and shelter. When she introduced the song she mentioned she sang it to her Mom, and told her us her Mom was there and to scream for her, and we all did! But Kelly TORE this song up!

Miss Independent- I love this song live, so much! She sang it awesomely, as usual! I love her little foot dance so much, haha, she's so cute!

Go- Oh my gosh! This is such a fun song to rock too! And I love that she's driving a Shelby in the video, that's so cool! I really really love this song, it might be my new favorite rock song, well it comes after Since You Been Gone though! haha!

Beautiful Disaster- So I love how she sings this song on tour! Slow and erie. But that's what makes it so cool! It's funny because the crowd sings along with her but they have to wait for her to sing haha it's funny.

Hear Me- I'm so glad that she has sang this song on this tour and Hazel Eyes Tour! It's such a good song, and the "Hear Meeee" when she goes high and all, it just knocks me off my feet everytime! She mentioned when the song was over that she can't write easy songs, they all have to be difficult. It was funny.

Yeah- I still haven't gotten the words to this song yet, but I do love it. Every now and then I'd get the words right haha! But, Kelly really seems to love it too!

Walk Away- So this is another song that I love live! I love rocking to it, yeah I'm a total rocking freak! haha! But at the end of the song I love how she walks off stage, then on the last 'Walk Away' she just disapeers behind the curtain. So cool! I knew at this point, she was going back to sing Breakaway

Breakaway- I have no clue how she goes so unnoticed out to the back of the audience, but thats so awesome about her, she's so sneaky! haha! Of course Breakaway was amazing, it's my absolute favorite from the Breakaway CD, okay I have a lot of favorites from that CD, I can't choose. haha! Even though my voice was going I was singing loud and proud!

Since U Been Gone- Woo hoo! The official rock out song in my book! This girl has got some mad energy! But that's what so awesome about her, haha! And I reallllly love the confetti is that sad or what? haha, I'm like a little kid when I see it! Oh well it was fun to rock out and sing and have confetti fall on you!


This concert ROCKED! I didn't realize how loud the audience was! My friend Emma didn't either, she was like "Is this really a Charlotte crowd?" Because last year Charlotte was quiet, but I realized during the concert when she'd try to talk, she just would stop and get a huge smile on her face. She just couldn't overpower us, so that was so cool! I love her concerts, I'm just a total idiot. haha! I'm still trying to decide which concert was better, Raleigh or Charlotte, haha they were both SO good! If she was sick last night, you definitely could NOT tell!

K- I think so, did it say part one on the front? ((She says as she's looking through, and she's like amazed by it haha!))
L- Umm..I dont think so, it just said Hazel Eyes Tour
K- Oh yeah! I remember seeing that now! Wow yall are so talented! ((haha she thought me and emma had made the scrapbook, but its okay I didnt care really lol))
*Shes still flipping through, looking around))
K- Oh you probably have every hair style in here don't you?
L- Umm..no, you were blonde the whole tour
K- Oh yeah! That's right! ((Shes going to sit the scrapbook down))
L- Oh, this is for you too! My Mom wanted me to give it to you! ((it was dingdong chapstick, that my Mom wanted me to give her))
K- Cool! tell her I said thanks!
L- Alright, I will.

Then she looked in the basket that me and Emma gave her, it was like a basket full of different things. We got her tea, a 4th of July teddy bear, different things from Bath and Body Works, Razzles, Hocus Pocus, this eye mask thing from Crab Tree and Evelyn that you can either heat up or freeze and you can wear it to help get rid of head aches, some other things too.

K- Oh is that vanilla!
L- Yep, some of it is!
Kelly grabbed some of the Cherry Blossom lotion we bought her .
K- I've never smelled this before...oh my gosh it smells so good!
L- You shoulda seen us walking around Concord Mills trying to fill this basket, its a huge mall over there. ((I might have asked her if she had heard of it, but I cant remember really haha)) We were in Bath and Body works trying to figure out what we thought you would like. I think the people working there thought we were crazy/

Then she looked through the basket some more and saw the DVD, and pulled it out, then she was like, "My gosh that Cherry Blossom stuff smells so good!" haha she must have liked it, I don't know.

K- ((looks over at Ashley)) This is what my hair looked like at the ACMA's!
A- *laughs* No you didnt!
K- Did yall watch the ACMA'S?
L- Yep, I did!
K- My hair looked like hers right there, Bette Middler, the one in the middle. (She was pointing at her, it was funny)
L- No! It really didn't look that bad, I've seen better hair styles though.
K- Oh yes it did, I was back stage and I didn't really like it, but I went out and sang anyways.
L- Well your performance made up for it, you were amazing!
K- Aw! Thanks! ((She sits the DVD back in the basket.))

Then next thing I know my cell phone starts ringing and you hear BTHE playing, and everyone starts laughing cuz I'm trying to turn it off quickly.
L- Oh! Crap, sorry! This wasn't planned.
K- No, its okay! What are these?
L- Razzles! They are amazing, have you ever had them before?
K- No, I haven't.
L- Well, first it's candy, then its gum!
K- You know you just said exactly what is on the wrapper
((I'm laughing and I'm pretty sure everyone else was too))
K- You could so be the spokeswoman for this candy!
L- haha! I got it from the movie!
A- You mean 13 going on 30?
L- Yeah! I love that movie!
A- Me too!
K- Was that the movie with Jennifer Garner?
L- Yep
K- Yeah! I've seen that! ((She said sitting it back down in the basket))
L- And we got you tea too!
K- Really? Oh Chamomille! I love that kind!
L- Yeah, I saw it on an interview so I figured you might like it!
K- Really?
L- Yeah, an interview from the people in Denmark.
K- Oh yeah, everyone drinks tea in Europe, so I was like well, why not!
L- I dont like tea much, but I'm glad you do!
K- So yall want a picture together or seperately. No, we will do both! Should I be in the middle or?((My friend Emma was with me, and I can't remember what her and Emma were talking about, but if I could I'd type it in haha!))

So we take the pictures together, then seperately, then when me and Kelly are taking our picture together, once again, and you hear BTHE. And I went to grab my phone from my pocket right as the took the picture.
K- Noo, you're okay, dont worry about it!

We took another picture and then she was like "My Mom has every ringtone on her phone, and theres a huge picture of me on the table at her house" and she starts doing the pose of the picture. It was funny.

I was trying to find Emma because she like disapeered? Cuz I thought we would both say goodbye to Kelly, but the security was kinda rushing us out the door, but I think she noticed that, and was like "Bye girls!"

So that was my meet and greet, and it was amazing. I told myself I wouldnt get nervous, but that whole day I was nervous, my mind set I wasn't nervous but the rest of me was haha. But when I got into the room and I was talking to everyone, I was okay. Kelly was so nice to take a picture with Me and Emma, then a seperate one! In a way I kinda got to meet Ashley, but she was really nice from the little bit I got to say to her haha! Okay, I dont know if this is weird, but I didn't realize how big her eyes were, they are so pretty! haha okay, before I say anything too stupid. I'm gonna end this! Thanks to the fan club for this chance, and Thanks to Kelly for doing it for us! She was amazing, and I felt like I had known her for forever! Aghhh...I'm still thinking about it..I haven't slept right in a while hahaha.

She was un.freakin.believable.

Her voice is just...unreal!

I actually just watched the crowd during some songs and I was literally brought to tears...because, wow, our girl is a phenom. I have been to every tour of hers, and this one really is on a different level. I love it. I'm SO dang proud to be a fan!!

I loved seeing Kel's mom, and her little shout-out to Joseph on stage was adorable. I saw Corey, Jacob, Jimmy, Aben and a couple of other bandmates walk by before the show. That was cool. And I swear I was sitting near Fantasia. LOL No joke. Or someone who was at least related to her. Like her sister or something...because she looked EXACTLY like her. And she was just getting down to Kelly's songs, and knew all of the words. There were a group of college guys in front of me, who were full out rocking their faces off to Kelly. I loved it all. What a great night.

Finally!! My Charlotte review!

I just got home from the Charlotte show because we stayed a few days later visiting family. Before I get in to the actual review, I just want to take back everything bad I've ever said about the fan club. (well, most of it. haha.) We picked up our tickets on the morning of the 4th and ended up with AMAZING seats!!! Center section, second row, seats 5 and 6.

So after picking up our tickets, we drove around town for a while just to pass the time, since it was still really early. Lots of people had painted cars for Kelly, but we saw this one car (picture didn't come out) that was completely decked out. There was so much decoration I don't think we even saw it all from one side, but to put it simply, I doubt that car would be able to go more than 30 mph. Anyway, the rest is boring, so on to the actual concert.

I was pretty disappointed with Rooney but it wasn't that big of a deal because they weren't on too long. Plus, with those amazing seats, you can't really be that bored being so close to the action. After waiting a while, we heard Addicted start to play, and the craziness began. I don't even remember the next couple of minutes because me and the guy next to me were just going crazy for Kelly. Here are some of the highlights-

"Gone"- Best part of the night for me!!! Kelly was on our side of the stage for a while, and my friend and I were completely rocking out and making fools of ourselves (which I don't regret one bit, haha) and toward the end of the song Kelly came right over to us, smiled for a minute because we probably looked completely insane, then looked us right in the eye and gave us a peace sign. I could have left after that and been completely happy, haha.

"Thankful"- This was weird for me because Thankful isn't really one of my favorites, but I specifically remember the vocals from this song. Something about hearing it live made it ten times better for me, and it is one of my favorites now.

"Shelter"- This was completely stunning. I can't even describe it, but while she was singing, she looked right over in our direction and held eye contact with me. For those of you who haven't been to a concert/met Kelly, people aren't exaggerating when they tell you it feels like she is looking right through you.

"Because of You"- I held it together during BOY!! Yay!! haha, I was trying really hard not to cry, this is my favorite song (like so many others) and I had my eyes locked on her the entire time. The same damn thing note killed!

"Yeah"- I had been waiting for Yeah all night, and for good reason. The guy sitting next to me hadn't heard it but fell in love with it and commented on how amazing it was after the show. My friend, who wasn't really a Kelly fan, said that she will definitely be buying the new album if Yeah makes the cut.

I would post pictures but they didn't come out very well at all, which is disappointing because we were so close. Oh well

Quick word on the timing (I know that's a touchy subject so I won't dwell on it)- IMO, Kelly could play for 3 days non stop and in our minds, it would go by too quickly. If you thought the show was too short, you probably had an amazing time and didn't realize time was passing.
