Reba in fall forecast
May 15th, 2008 by David Burke She was a regular at the former Mark of the Quad-Cities, appearing here every year for six straight years from 1994-99. But we haven't seen Reba McEntire at all this decade. That'll change this fall. Both Pollstar.com and Reba.com have a Saturday, Oct. 25, date listed for Reba and Kelly Clarkson. (The two had a duet hit last year with a remake of Clarkson's "Because of You," and the first "American Idol" winner is now managed by Reba's husband/manager.) Reba's site says tickets won't go on sale until September, so don't bug the iwC about it yet. |

I wish they were coming some place closer to NM, the closest is Utah and Nevada. That's not very close at all, they should come straight to NM, she's
never been here so it wouldn't be overkill, haha!!

I think the whole gas prices thing is mostly psychological (including for me). Because, think about it...Let's say you're driving 200 miles (which most
people won't drive that far, but that's about a 3-4 hour drive) and you get 25 miles per gallon. That means you need 8 gallons of gas to get the 200
miles. That's only $8 more than if gas were about $3 a gallon instead of $4. Unless you're driving really, really far, it's not that much different
in cost than if the gas prices were a lot lower.
It's the same thing when people drive across town to pay 10 cents less for gas. You're only paying like $1.50 less for a full tank and you probably used some of it to get there. |
