Brooke White Starts and Stops the Classics (Best Week Ever)

That's funny!!! I love that she's able to laugh at herself like that. I hope she doesn't turn into the William Hung of her season for that,
because as Kelly would say, "That's just comedy." She's certainly got a lot talent...and also a sense of humor apparently. Funny stuff.

We dvr best week ever every week and I was cracking up at this. She really does have a great sense of humor.
BTW, she has a cd up for sale on ITUNES - some covers, some original songs. I don't care for it but there may be some fans here that do. I'm pretty much over Brooke White - which makes me sad cuz I really, really liked her at the beginning of the season (she was my hubbies early favorite for about 3 weeks) |

That video is too funny. Good for her that she's able to laugh at herself. |

I don't like it either dee and she was my favorite that season. Her vibrato is out of control and she's behind
the music for the whole song. I think ballads are best for her.

From Blake Lewis' myspace that was posted on TWOP. Link to the myspace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=32729351
So I had been doin the whole radio promo tours and let me tell ya. I've never really been a fan of the radio, but always wanted to be a radio DJ. "Strange?" You say. Trying to get them to play my jam has been so grueling. Don't get me wrong, I loved being apart of American Idol and all, but if I have to talk to one more DJ that doesn't really care about my music and wants to know what Simon Cowell or Sanjaya is like, I'm gonna poo my pants. What happened to DJs playing music that provokes emotion? or even music they like. I've talked to most of them and they just do what the next do. There is hope I feel. Still some magic is running through the air. A couple amazing singer/songwriters and producers are fighting there way through the waves, hoping to see the shore…, as am I. I don't think he's helping his case at all with statements like that. I've always appreciated Kelly's great attitude to Idol-related questions in all of her interviews, but this makes me appreciate her (and her maturity) even more. Does he really write his own myspace or what? |

Grease Is the Word for Taylor Hicks
Natalie Finn Thu May 15, 6:05 PM ET Los Angeles (E! Online) - Just when Taylor Hicks seemed to be in danger of being a public-eye dropout, along comes the favorite landing spot of many an American Idol refugee.
Starting June 6, the silvery haired season-five champ will jump into the role of Teen Angel, Frenchy's guardian angel and the
singer of "Beauty School Dropout," in the current
reality-show-fueled revival of Grease at the Brooks Atkinson Theater.
Hicks is slated to Soul Patrol the stage until Sept. 7. |

Justin has a brand new website with a 3 song EP of acoustic music. You can also join his fanclub (it's not really called that, I dont think but it's
something you pay for and get to have luncheons with him or something).

naturalwoman21 wrote: Hmmm, I had a totally different idea of what soul/funk would sound like. THAT'S soul/funk? *scratches head* Not that it's bad, just .... different then what he's been saying the next cd would be. I think he put out these songs on an EP to hold his fans over until he can out that much promised, and much delayed, cd he's been promising for about 2 years now. If not, if this is what the long wait has been for, I'm a little dissapointed. I want a full cd, of funk/soul, sold, at the very least on ITUNES (hey, it can't be that hard if Brooke has one there not to mention Jim V. having his cd on there) and not off a website. I'll buy then, if for nothing more than to support him, but I'm still hoping for a real label, a real cd and a single to radio that will have him popping up on real shows like Leno, Letterman, R&K, etc, to promote his music. |

Penny, are you going to join his fanclub? It's only $160 per year and you get to have lunch with him and talk to him on the phone!
