So I thought I'd give a quick snip of my concert happenings, I'll get my videos on youtube sometime this weekend, I have 5 or so full songs, and a few clips.
I had a meet and greet, and as amazing as it was to meet Kelly, I'm kicking myself hardcore right now for not saying more, I felt SO RUSHED that I was just like HI! IM ABBY HERES A SHIRT KTHXBYE but it went something more like this:
I set my stuff down on the table, and heard her talking to the first person through (I think it was a woman named Kelly, she was pretty cool) I made a little AH noise to the lady standing watching our stuff when I heard Kelly talking.
Tour manager dude (sorry can't remember his name)- OK NEXT PERSON!
I scrabble to put my stuff down and run around the corner of the back drop and am like, oh wow there's a person standing here, yeah um that's Kelly... omg her eyes are amazing! Hug
Kelly-oo we're both wearing purple!
Me- blink mmhmm
Kelly-What was the name?
Me- ABBY!
Kelly- Hi Abby!
I try to undo the rubber band that was around the letter and shirt that I had made but first give her the sign I want her to hold in the picture "Ok so here's this its for the picture, is it possible to do two, one with this then a normal one?"
Kelly- "Yeah, sure!"
Me-"But first..." still trying to get it undone, holding on to the letter that goes with it
Kelly looking at sign "Abby is not a creeper..." Yeah now I realize I should have told her why it said that instead of weirding her out... good job. My friends think I'm a loser creeper something because I am a big fan...
Me- "Ok so I don't know if you saw it, but the at&t commercials or whatever with the IDK My.."
Kelly-"Yeah... My BFF Rose or whatever"
Me-"Yeah, so I know you'll never wear this, but I thought it would be really funny..." Try desperately to unfold the shirt while holding the letter in my hand, I struggle so much that Kelly had to help me out.
Kelly "IDK my BFF Reba" Giggles and shows it to Ashely and the other girl
Ashely and other girl-"Haha, look at the hair! It looks like a year book picture!" (Side note the shirt said IDK... My BFF Reba? on it and had a really old picture of Reba on it)
Me "Yeah I looked for a really old one on line"
Kelly runs over to the wall and throws the shirt down with sign too "Oops, no we need that!" and comes back over
Me-"Here's a letter too because I know I won't be able to say everything I want"
Kelly runs back over and lays it on the shirt and comes back and holds out the sign I take position because I wanted it to be funny, I put my elbow up on her sholder (I'm like 5 inches taller than her)
Kelly "So do you want to hold one side and I'll..."
Me "Oh, no I was going to..."
Kelly "Oh... ok"
Pose
Kelly puts the sign down "What are we doing now?" I put my arm around her "Oh just a normal one, Ok"
Smile
One more hug
Kelly "Thanks for coming, Abby!"
Me as I'm turning to walk away, awkwardly "Yeah, thanks, for uh, doing this, all of this thank you for everything..."
Kelly smiling "Yeah of course"
Me as I'm turning the corner of the back drop "I'VE BEEN WAITING 6YEARS FOR THIS!"
Kelly with a shocked face "Oh geeze! I guess I've got a lot to live up to (or) That's a lot of pressure for me (or something along those lines)
Then it was over and the guy behind me went and I stood there wondering why it had to be over so quickly and wanted to be like, WAIT I WANT TO GO BACK! in stead I looked at the lady guarding our stuff on the table and said "So I just go then?" "Yes, security will show you the way out" I made onto the floor right after the lights went out for MP
It sounds like it could have taken like five minutes, but I'm pretty sure it was about 1 and a half...

The show was amazing though, Kelly had some killer moments, NA was AMAZING I have it on video. Her chatter was cute too, she changed it up a little since I had seen the first leg of the tour. Some of my family went, they sat elsewhere though. My mom texted me a few times saying how amazing Kelly was and that Reba kinda sounded like Mickey Mouse. My aunt said that Kelly had the most amazing voice and she could blow Carrie Underwood out of the water any day.
Even though I'm still ticked that I met Kelly without her actually meeting the real me, I still met her and I can always try for meet and greets again.
