I love the new Ready! I also love 'I Want You', 'Whyyawannabringmedown', 'Save You' and 'Already Gone'. Dont Let Me Stop You is
really cool too. I don't like 'If I Can't Have You'.

1. My Life Would Suck Without You - Anthem. Not my favorite on the album, but it's still infectious.
2. I Do Not Hook Up - Ok, so THIS is what it sounds like with amazing vocals! I actually really like it. Can't wait to hear the whole thing. 3. Cry - I honestly love this song so much and I have only heard thirty seconds. It is so beautiful. I love it. 4. Don't Let Me Stop You - Awesome! I love how her voice sounds in this. It's really really good!!! 5. All I Ever Wanted - I've loved this song since I heard Aranda's version. Now I'm loving Kelly's version! 6. Already Gone - Beautiful. Her voice sounds gorgeous, flawless. I can't wait to hear the rest, it just sounds amazing. 7. If I Can't Have You - I agree with some who said it reminded them a little bit of Fly On The Wall (I think it was uberscoober?) Anyway, sounds really catchy. I like it alot. 8. Save You - Kelly's voice is so pure! She really sounds amazing, I think I've said that 9837 times already but still. 9. Whyyawannabringmedown - Woah! I love it!! Can you imagine how fun this will be live? The energy is so good, and I love hearing her say "Unos, dos, tres, quatro." 10. Long Shot - So much better with KC's vocals. I'm liking it! 11. Impossible - I'm loving the Kelly/Ryan songs. I really like the lyrics, I can't wait to hear the rest! 12. Ready - yeahh! I love this song, I like the new version, but I love the acoustic still. Anyway, I absolutely adore this song and I can't wait for it live! 13. I Want You - Definitely different. I like that "clapping" sound in the background. It's really cute. 14. If No One Will Listen - I really love it. The whole song is beautiful, her voice is gorgeous. Bonus: The Day We Fell Apart - I can honestly say the play count for this song on iTunes has surpassed LWS. I freaking love it! I'm actually surprised this didn't make the album but there is only so much room for all these amazing tracks! |

"Already Gone"... the melody and the beat.. is a lot like "Halo" by Beyonce..
I know that Tedder produced both of them.. I just wanted to point that out |

WARNING: I use the word "despise" in my following thoughts. I'm not too complementary
on some of these songs, so don't read if you don't want negativity. These are just my honest thoughts, though. I adore Kelly Clarkson, and I always
will.
I Do Not Hook Up: This is just an amazing pop song. Insanely infectious. I liked it when Katy Perry sang it, and I love it now as a KC track. I have a feeling this will be bigger than MLWSWY. Cry: Her vocals are brilliant. I haven't listened to this one much yet, but I really like it. Don't Let Me Stop You: Sooooo good. She shatters these vocals. Great emotion. This is definitely one of the best off the album. All I Ever Wanted: I prefer the arrangement on the Aranda version - it's moodier. Already Gone: Remember all those walls we built, well, baby, they're tumbling down. Oh, wrong song? Anyway, I'm not too keen on this one. I think Ryan's very limited in his songwriting ability - this is basically "Apologize" and "Halo" mashed into one. If I Can't Have You: Musically, I despise this one. The chorus is just dreadful. Save You: She sounds good, but I don't really think the song goes anywhere. Whyyouwannabringmedown: Her vocals are scorching on the chorus, but this just screams Miley Cyrus/Ashlee Simpson to me. The sad thing is, Kelly should be able to pull this type of song off, but it just sounds too forced. Long Shot: The verses are really awesome, but the chorus is pretty generic. She sounds dead-up like Katy on the demo in bits, too. Impossible: Pretty underwhelming and bland. Ready: I am a HUGE fan of this demo. And all those demos, for that matter. "Close Your Eyes" is the best song she's done, and it's the direction she clearly wants to go in if she did those demos just for her own musical expression. The new production on this kind of detracts from the lo-fi quality I loved about the demo, but I still think the song is genius. I miss the "%%+%," though. Damn you Walmart and overprotective parents shielding your children from the "dangerous" things in life like cuss words! I Want You: I adore this song until the Duffy wannabe backup singers come on. Yes, this is a retro-sounding song, but that doesn't mean you need to get some fake raspy Welsh wannabes on the track. If No One Will Listen: She MURDERS these vocals, but everything about it is kind of cheesy. I'm not big on the arrangement either. It spends all this time building up, and then the climax is very underwhelming. Overall, I'm kind of neural. There are some AMAZING gems on here - "I Do Not Hook Up," "Cry," and "Don't Let Me Stop You." However, there are also some really generic dance/pop/rock tracks - "If I can't Have You," "Whyyouwannabringmedown," "Impossible." The most disappointing thing to me is how little Kelly I see in here. I know she co-wrote these songs, but based on the demos we weren't supposed to hear, this isn't really her chosen direction. She says in interviews how she will sing any song that she thinks is good, but I'd really prefer for it to be songs that she is passionate about from herself. That being said though, the Katy Perry reject "I Do Not Hook Up" is my favorite." So, I don't know. It's definitely a sugary, commercial pop album meant to sell lots of units - which is fine. It just doesn't sit well with me knowing that half of the album was handed to her already written and worked out. I think Kelly has great potential as an artist; I'd like to see her in categories with James Morrison or Sara Bareilles, not just in the Miley Cyrus or High School Musical "if you hand it to me, I'll sing it" grouping. |

I like all of the songs except one which I don't think gives Kelly's voice justice.

I LOVE IT.
I definitely agree this is her best album to date. The only songs I don't care RIGHT NOW are "Impossible", "Ready" and "If I Can't Have You". My standouts are - "Whyyawannabringmedown", "I Want You", "Already Gone" and "Cry". I expected to HATE "I Do Not Hook Up" but it's already growing on me soooooo much. |

So far I like the album. Its not the second coming or anything, but its good. There are parts of it that are better than Breakaway/My December. The Ryan Tedder
tracks disappoint. I need 'Ready' to be a single. Perfect for summer! I think some songs sound forced and oversung, just my opinion. Overall, I'm
pleased though.

ok. for singles. 1. My Life Would Suck
2. I do not Hook Up 3. Cry (although already gone wouldn't be bad; people may think it's Halo part 2) 4. This is a toss up between "I want you" or "Long Shot" or "All I ever wanted" or even "Whyawannabringmedown" honesty though. most of the album could be released as a single and do very well. as you can tell from the 4th single selection hahaha |
