I am really into lyrics and figuring out what they are about haha SO..
So far, I think Already Gone is a reponse song to Graham Colton's "On Your Side" And I think Long Shot could be about releasing "My December" Thoughts?

How is this for weird? I was humming Cry on the way home from the Pit of Despair last night (that's not the weird part...I often cry on the way home from
the Pit) and then out of nowhere I was humming "The Greatest Fan of Your Life" (weird part alert) by Edwin McCain (I had to look that up ~ also, not
the weird part) Does Cry remind anyone else of that song? I don't think it's the lyrics (that would be weird and really stalkerish) but maybe the
song structure or the bridge/high note?
Anyway, when it was time to get ready for work yesterday, I started the CD: MLWSWY ~ AIEW: Get clothes ready, refill Diet Coke, etc. ALREADY GONE: Shower ~ perfect, because as of right now, I don't really mind missing it. IICHY ~ LONG SHOT ~ makeup, etc. ~ can still hear CD IMPOSSIBLE: blow dry hair ~ again, perfect, because I don't need to hear that one every time READY: brush teeth and finish just in time for the bridge and the whisper! IWY: get dressed INWL: chill out and listen with time to fix makeup from crying and head to work It's perfect!!!!!!!! So, while I was at work and I try to think of anything but being at work, these were the songs that popped up randomly in my head: DLMSY, LONG SHOT, I WANT YOU, IDNHU, IICHY |

I try not to overanalyze why or about whom Kelly has written an individual song but if there was ever a song I thought Kelly wrote about Graham it's
Already Gone.
I think she chose WYWBMD because it's a fun song and she's gonna love singing it live! I can't imagine kelly thinks of herself as RCAs love monkey LOL |

My favorite songs after a few listens are:
I Do Not Hook Up (That melody!! So catchy and a great summer single.) Cry (Only ballad I love on the CD right now.) All I Ever Wanted (Perfection. Her vocals are ridiculous.) Ready (Love what they did with it- and I agree that it sounds like a female version of "I'm Yours".) I Want You (Gets a little repetitive at the end, but it's such a different sound for her. I love it!) The Day We Fell Apart (Why is this a bonus track?!!! Would've been perfect if they replaced INOWL with this and made "Ready" the last track".) I'm really underwhelmed with the ballads, and those are usually my favorite from Kelly. I think "Already Gone" and "If No One Will Listen" are way too overproduced. The lyrics in INOWL are atrocious- cringe worthy, even. Anyone who thinks Kelly isn't capable of writing a hit song needs to listen to Sober and INOWL side by side. Ugh. |

Last night I played the CD for my friends, and we had a long drive so they got to hear the whole thing. My one friend's reaction, upon hearing "Save
You", said that "this is the best Kelly song I've ever heard, and this sounds like her best CD". That says a lot, because she is toally
anti-Kelly for whatever reason. And my boyfriend was quietly rocking out too (he just doesn't want to admit his love for the Clarkson lol). AIEW may
appeal to an even broader audience than Breakaway, and hopefully I convinced someone that wouldn't normally by a Kelly record to go out and purchase one!
See, leaks are good sometimes!

I'm really diggin' the diversity on this album. I was in a mellow mood last night and was more into the softer, slower numbers. Today I'm full of
energy and I'm gravitating towards the upbeat songs.
Seems like there is something for everyone here. |

So I really like Already Gone now....I picture the video for it very Wizard of Oz-esque. Like a tornado blowing everything away and it being in black and
white. I can picture it better in my mind than explaining it haha.

this album is so weird(in a good way). thankful was pop/r&b, breakaway and my december were pop/rock, all i ever wanted is pop/???. It's so different
from anything kelly ever did and takes some getting used to.

1. My Life Would Suck Without You
Uh/// 2. I Do Not Hook Up It still bothers me that Katy Perry wrote this song. Otherwise it's awesome. 3. Cry This is gonna take some time to grow on me. >.> 4. Don't Let Me Stop You Loved this in an instant! Had it stuck in my head all yesterday. 5. All I Ever Wanted I <3 how a buncha her songs on this album are about how she wants a guy. It's kinda cute. 6. Already Gone I listen to the beginning, and I'm like, "OMG Ryan Tedder." But it's cool. 7. If I Can't Have You YAY! Love thissss... 8. Save You It gets a little annoying if I listen to it twice in a row. 9. Whyyawannabringmedown This song is so much fun! (and energetic) 10. Long Shot Again, Katy Perry. But it's still pretty catchy. 11. Impossible Love love love this! Esp. the beginning. 12. Ready I still like the acoustic version better, but it's cool how it sounds like country in the chorus. 13. I Want You Another fun, cute song. 14. If No One Will Listen Don't like it that much. It doesn't sound like Kelly to me. 15. The Day We Fell Apart Haha, love the chorus. |
