The ladies are sticking to the music and the performance. Then Justin brings up her weight. The ladies defend KC and then Justin says, "Let's not feed the fire" WTF?!? -- Here is how it came across to me - Women focus on the work. Man focuses on the visual. Ladies defend the work. Man says calm down. That little bit was a graduate course in media studies. I can't wait for the touring to begin and the nonsense to end (of which I agree that I contribute).

They seemed to concede that AI isn't as focused on the artistry as they'd like to see, unless I misinterpreted it. I'll have to go back and watch the clip (thanks Rick!!). I can't wait for the touring to begin and the nonsense to end (of which I agree that I contribute). Amen to that Erin!! I admit I'm no saint either

He was doing his job as a commentator and brought up the weight issue. His exact words were "why are people focusing on her weight?" and then "its ridiculous." Clearly it isn't a focus for him, he is just wondering why it is in the news and tabloids a lot. I do agree it is a bit odd how he then says "well lets get back on topic" since he is the one who brought it up, but I don't think he was doing anything wrong. His job is to talk about the Idols, he gets paid to do this...

I know it doesn't really have anything to do with the Idol wrap up but I thought I'd just throw that out there so someone might see if any Kelly footage makes it on. Because in the preview they show Kanye rehearsing.
