So late in the year...
my mom said yes but that's still too far. I'll patiently wait for Texas to come around. Yay for her hitting up everywhere else that doesn't get Kelly love all the time.

Ok guys this post might be a little lengthy but I just wanted to share a pretty awesome story with you guys
Unfortunately last tuesday I found out that my cousin Sheri (31) and her 2 boys (11 and 9) were murdered inside their home in Columbia IL. As you can imagine my family and I have been absolutely devasted and we have little to know answers as to who or why this happened. We were extremely close with them and it's been an absolute nightmare this past week. Yesterday (monday) was the wake and it was the most horrible experience I ever had to go through and I wouldn't wish it on any of you guys. Which leads my story... Today on my local station (b96) in Chicago they were giving away backstage passes to meet Kelly at 12, 3 and 5. At 5:00 my friends and I were randomly listening to the radio (I totally forgot about the times) and they said "be the 96th caller and you'll win 2 backstage passes to meet Kelly Clarkson!" So of course my friend and I dialed and kept getting busy signal, busy signal like totally nonchalantly re-dialing....and then mine starts ringing! So I stayed on the line but thought it would take me to a dial tone like it did before...well before I know it the DJ gets on and says "Hey what's your name?" and I said "Jenna" and he goes "would you like to hear a Kelly Clarkson song?" and I said "Of course I would She's my favorite!" (thinking at this point I got the request line) and he said "well that's good she's your favorite...how bout you tell her that in person since You're the 96th caller!!" I could NOT believe my ears. My friend and I start screaming like little girls on the phone and freaking out. So in the end he took my info and I'm meetin KC on June 13th!! I have NEVER won anything like this IN MY LIFE. Everrrrrrr. I'm still in shock! My cousin Sheri and I were HUGE Kelly fans together...she took me to 2W2V in St. Louis and we talked Kelly allllll the time. I just can't help but think this is an act of fate and her little sign of telling me she's looking out for me. Here's a picture of her and her boys Garett (11) & Gavin (9)

that gave you a ray of sunshine through all of this.

Jenna - everyone is fantastically happy for you. We all know your week has been awful. In order to lighten this up a bit....what kind of crazy shenanigans are
you going to get going this time? Does she invite you on stage again? Do you get an entire arena to watch you dance during the intermissions? Whatever ends up
happening the heavens will be smiling on you and everyone here will be filled with love and happiness that this could not have happened to a more deserving
fan!

freakin' cool that you get to meet Kelly?! She just HAS to remember you from being up on stage. I think your cousin definitely had a hand in you getting
through and winning that backstage pass.

Jenna, i am very sorry to hear about your loss. what a tragedy. And WOW and your little angels in heaven watching out for you... for sure a sign, them telling
you they are alright now. very neat.
I just got 2nd row presale for the MN show this summer! and my friend got the seats right next to us... we also got seats in rows 5 and 6... but are giving them to our parents!!! i for sure didn't think things were going to go this good for presale, but i guess we just got lucky! --- Kelly is going to be here tomorrow, and i STILL haven't won tickets, and that's the only way in... that's soooo stupid. she'll be what? 20 minutes away and there's nothing i can do about it... dumb dumb dumb |

Jenna, I hope you and your family get justice for what happened to your cousin and her boys. It's heartbreaking just hearing about it, so I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. Just know that you and they are in our thoughts. |
