After being released in June 2007 surrounded by negative press (with the media actually rooting for her), Kelly Clarkson's My December may have another shot at selling a few more copies. The album which has seemed to only disappear from shelves as her fourth effort All I Ever Wanted tears Kelly Clarkson's My December Sessions Resurrected with "Did You" for Movie Twilight: New Moon up the charts may see more light of day and in a positive way. The track "Did You" that was originally one of the 26 songs recorded for My December has surfaced with a whirlwind of rumors that it will be on the upcoming soundtrack for the movie Twilight: New Moon. While Clarkson has been asked several times about the movie, there's been no confirmation of the track and is so far just a coincidence. "Did You" was written by Kelly Clarkson and producer David Kahne and is another piece of Kelly's broken heart from that era. The lyrics, both by Twilight fans and Clarkson followers, seem as if it could easily fit into the new storyline, making this a bigger confusion. "Did you ever care for me/ Did you ever believe in me/ Did you ever love me/ Did you" she sings in the chorus. Built on a ballad riff, the verses describes Clarkson feeling small and almost ignored by the love that broke her heart. She doesn't understand how she could be so blinded and then finds herself surrounded by darkness, bowing her head and crying. Both Twilight and Clarkson fans have agreed that her track "Haunted" may have been a better fitting. "Did You" and the rumors have made it all the way to the Ryan Seacrest radio show. However, the song was merely on the original promo CD for My December's sessions and was leaked by a source who had purchased a copy of that promo. News started to spread quickly as Kelly's largest fan forum, the Kelly Clarkson Express, had been discussing what if Kelly were to make an appearance on the soundtrack and then all of a sudden the song hit the internet. The Express is widely watched by news media outlets as they obtain otherwise hard to get behind the scenes information through various sources.

LOL so funny!...and then one of the stops was nassau so my mom, sister, and i decided to go check out the atlantis since we'd never been and while we were walking around i found this on the desk in some guy's office!

I haven't heard that in forever, so that was a nice surprise! My friends and I went to a record store over the weekend and when we passed by Kelly's section, my friend grabbed AIEW and said "I LOVE THIS CD! I listen to it all the time in the car- makes me feel like I'm going on some adventure!" LOL. I love her. We went on for a minute talking about our favorite tracks- she said she loves DLMSY, Ready, Long Shot and AIEW the most. And THEN, she said "I was looking through the booklet, and it's funny because most of my favorite songs were written by Kelly. I'm like 'Kelly, what are you doing girl- write the whole thing yourself!'" So, that pretty much made my day! <3 Oh, and earlier in the day we walked into the new IKEA that opened in Tampa, and they were playing Don't Waste Your Time! My friend said "This is a good sign!" haha.
