Yeah they are in season 4 right now. I've been watching this show from the start and still love it. They've been able to make some serious cast changes through the years and still survive and make a great show, which really is a testament to the quality of the writing and everything.

Last night's episode was very suspenseful. The killer ended up being someone most people probably never suspected. My mom kept saying it's the reporter and I thought it was that cop that ended up being killed, but we were both off. I will say - whenever 'the reaper' had the mask on, I could not look at him. His eyes scared the crap out of me. I am worried that he escaped though - he'll probably be back in a later episode like Frank in season 2.

I really miss Gideon though - I'm not much of a Rossi fan. Although I much prefer Prentiss to Elle. And is it just me or does Derek have to almost die in basically every episode this season? He's had so many near death experiences this go around it's ridiculous. My favorites are JJ, Prentiss, Derek and Penelope. I HATE their season ending cliffhangers because they are always big, so I'm hating this one coming up.

And I totally agree about this show making you paranoid. I've made a long list of things I won't do because of this show. The episode with the therapist killing his patients by their greatest fears was really freaky in that department. Some shows you watch and know it's too far out there to really happen, but these are so realistic and happen everywhere around the country. It focuses on a lot of aspects that other shows don't think about it - more the why then how.

Jinxed - yeah I don't know what loving this show says about me either. haha.

It is the guy from Omnivore. He was a serial killer and he injured himself and claimed to be a victim - when he was actually the unsub all along - so he could be involved with the investigation. He made a deal with one of Hotch's old colleagues that he would stop killing and when that cop died, he started up again. He tried to offer the same deal to Hotch, but he wouldn't take it. The end of the episode showed that he had escaped from whatever prison he was being held in.

His eyes creeped me out in that mask during his original episode. I wonder if it's gonna be like an almost death like Elle in the first season. That guy seems like too much of a creeper to just flat out kill Hotch. He wants the power - which is why he kept making deals not to kill. I can see him injuring Hotch and going on to kill more just to taunt him. They always have good cliffhangers - Elle at the end of season 1 and not knowing of Gideon killed himself at the end of the second season.

The scenario of Derek taking over is logical too though. They haven't mentioned anything about his promotion since early in the season which is strange.

Edited to add - hahaha...the episode that we're talking about (Omnivore) is the one that execjen mentioned in the first post of the thread. This is what I said about it back then "His eyes scared the crap out of me. I am worried that he escaped though - he'll probably be back in a later episode like Frank in season 2."
