Congratulations to the PHILIMINATORS for winning the Season 8 Idol Contest. Houster (and cubbie?) correctly picked Kris to win in the Finale and have lead throughout the contest - with the help of their buddy, DialIdol.

KellysMomCalledMeFine came in a very close second, followed immediately by KricketNP who finished in 3rd only 10 points behind. Excellent!

Big Movers this week include Insanoshano - who scored 200 Bonus Points this week and was the only one who correctly identified the order of the Top 5 when only 5 were left. Also scoring big were Feel the Burn and Monee A. Good job!

Thanks to everyone for hanging in there - it was a fun season and hopefully the Thugs will be back on top in 2009.

oh yeah - and honorable mention to BLUE ICE who made a respectful attempt to defend their title and finishing at a solid sixth. Maybe next year!

And big thanks toValeegirl for running the contest again and her pretty charts!! Seasons 2 thru 8...Ryan Seacrest should really have you as a co-host next year!

I'm sure your teammate is proud even if it wasn't a Sox or Pats finish for the Thugs this year. It's nice to let the other teams have a turn in the winner's circle.
