Herd a few snow patrol songs that would sound good by kelly, not shure on the names as forget, that take back the city one?.And maybe an older one of there big
album, where in video shows a well known one from the 70's i think of car speeding through paris.

I don't think "Take Back The City" would be a good fit for her. "Close Your Eyes" might be better.
Snow Patrol is a prime example of a band that makes great music that hasn't sold well here in the U.S. -- at least their latest album. |

Heard Eva Cassidy sing this song on the radio today and thought Kelly would do a great job on it.

Eva Cassidy did a lot of cover songs, and "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" was no exception.
It was first a hit for the late, great Buddy Holly in 1959, just after he died in the infamous plane crash that Don McLean called "The Day The Music Died" in the song "American Pie". (Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and J.P. Richardson a/k/a The Big Bopper died in that plane crash). http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2491 In the 1970's, what I would say is the best version of all was a hit for Linda Ronstadt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXSoRpF3t9U Plus, two minutes of research, and I found out that Paul Anka wrote the song.

I loooove this Celine song (written by Kara DioGuardi), but I can't help but think about how amazing Kelly would sound on it every time I listen!

"So Much To Say", DMB
ETA: In my now continuing quest to break Kelly away from the pop world once and for all, she should sing "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKOngTfTMs0

Sarah McLachlan - Song for a Winter's Night
it's an absolutely beautiful song. it's actually a cover of the song written by Gordon Lightfoot. but Sarah McLachlan's version is better I think. Kelly would sound amazing singing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sle2_E_Xt-c |

I don't have a specific song that I'd like to hear her cover, but the more I listen to KC the more I realize just how amazing her voice really is. And
she's even better live (from what I've seen on youtube - my 1st KC concert's coming up). Anyway, I could see her doing anything by Heart (Ann
Wilson), Pink, Janis Joplin or even Adele...those powerful voices with that something extra...guess it's kind of raspy or whatever. Kelly's voice gives
me chills. She could do a cover of the Mr Rogers 'Would You Be My Neighbor' song and I'd buy it!

Let It Rain by Amanda Marshall. Kelly is the only female artist today who can deliver the vocal demands of this song.

Sex on Fire and Use Somebody by Kings of Leon would be pretty cool! I'd also love to hear her do Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
