Rant: I've been to the docs, and I have Pityriasis Rosea, and quite a severe case which might not go away for some time

GCF and Jelly - I'm sure it's hard seeing your family go through everything with your grandparents. I have some work experience (internships mainly)
with older individuals, and independence is definitely a key factor. They've probably been independent their entire lives, so they cannot imagine losing
that. The adjustment is hard for families too, probably because now the roles are reversed; now they have to take care of the parents' needs.
Hang in there, both of you. Sounds like it'll just take time and love. Hugs to everyone who needs it. |

I had a very traumatic night...there was a spider in my bed!!!! it was a pretty big one too...I get
chills every time I think about it and I could totally not sleep at all after that. I am pretty much phobic about spiders too and this one was UNDER MY FREAKIN
SHEETS. omg I don't know if I will ever be able to sleep in my bed again. I want to like douse the whole room in Raid but at the same time I don't want
to poison myself haha.

I hate spiders too...my family makes fun of me for it, lol...but I've been especially careful of them since my uncle got bit by a brown recluse spider and
had to go to the hospital because of it (he lives in NY though)....but the northern black widow is native here..definitely don't want to run into that one,
lol

^ haha i KNOW!!! it's always been my biggest nightmare too and it actually HAPPENED! it's hard
to say how big it was cause I didn't actually see it full size. Basically I *gulp* felt it *AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* so of course my initial reaction is
to freak out and start flailing manically and basically launched myself out of bed. After standing there pretty much paralyzed for about 10 minutes I noticed
its body on the floor...but the legs were mostly gone which I think I did in my panic mode. but the length of the body was like 2cm, and I found some of the
legs too and they were like, 3-4 cm long. so yeah that's pretty big for around here. My sheet was a dark color which might be why I didn't notice it
when I was getting into bed so today I am going out and buying white sheets, lol and looking for some like, organic bug spray or something.

OMG Jen, I'm a huge wimp when it comes to bugs as well, so I totally feel your pain!!! I'll freak out even if I see one of those centipedes on the wall
or in the bathtub...I'll run to my husband and make him kill it lol.
I had a really bad rash last summer on my leg (ended up needing antibiotics), and we're not sure if I got bit by a spider or tick, so I'm extra cautious too. Semi-Rant: Guess who just got stuck coordinating her brother's 40th birthday party!?! It's only a semi-rant because it'll make me feel useful for a change; however, I am tasked with writing the "evite", and I am so not creative with these things.

SPIDERS -- OMG. Let me just say, without making anyone's skin crawl, that 3 years ago I got bit by a brown recluse spider and best we could all guess (ER
doctor included) it got me in my bed. 3 years later I still check under sheets before I get in bed.
Anti-Rant: As sad as I am to have to work tonight, THANK GOD I just happened to wake up 2 minutes after my alarm was supposed to go off. I have no idea what made me do it. I could have very well slept right on until whenever and totally missed work. Normally the boyfriend comes in about 5:15 on Wednesday, but tonight he is at his brother's for dinner. So I am going to say luck was on my side. And at least it was just 2 minutes after, if I had woke up with about 10 minutes to spare it would have been just as bad. |
