It is a bit different from the book but I really thought they did a great job with the movie. I enjoyed it a lot! I thought everyone in the cast did a really great job too. I didn't think Cameron Diaz could make me cry, but she really did.

As expected, I bawled my eyes out watching My Sister's Keeper.

^ Thanks for the info. I was really curious how Cameron will do. I want to see it, but I think will see Transformers first tomorrow. My husband and I don't go out to the movies on a regular basis, so if we go, we usually try to see the ones best on big screens. Unless it's a movie we've been waiting for. Hopefully, My Sister's Keeper will still be on when we go next time. Or else we'll definitely rent it and watch it on our tv. Which will be awesome 'cause we just bought a Bose home theater system! We haven't set it up, tho. lol. |

I want to go see MSK but now that I"m hearing what a tearjerker it is, I'm afraid I might lose it and embarrass myself to death. It be different if I
were a girl but I'm not.

Kelly2Kelly wrote:umm well it's the same basic storyline and characters... but I believe a lot is different, I read the book a year ago so I can't really remember it all... but I felt like that book was more Anna and the movie was more Kate, so it was nice, if that makes sense... both book and movie were amazing. |

The book was more focused on Anna and her journey through all of this, whereas the movie is more balanced. You get the point of views of all the characters
involved more than in the book. There is one major difference from the book, but I didn't mind it too much. It allowed me to be able to enjoy both book and
film on different levels.

Going to see The Hangover tonight, I know I'm late on seeing it, but I've finally convinced my dad to go. Can't wait to laugh
MSK is on my list too, though I think I'll be alone on that one, not one person wants to see it, they know it'll be too sad. |

Damn it i wanna see MSK.... I figured it would be sad judging how the book is... even though they aren't exactly similar.

Transformers was very good. Wasn't expecting it to be that long but it was good

I saw My Sister's Keeper and it was pretty sad though it could have been sadder if they set up the structure of the movie (pace and scenes) in a different
way. Also saw Transformers and to be honest all you see is shiny metal everywhere it is hard to see any details..just explosions for the last hour or so.

I watched transformers 2 by imax last night... it was really amazing... I was thrilled by its visual effects the whole time while watching it. but it was too
long and some scenes as if boasting US military weapons and soliders were kinda annoying... but except that, it was such a great movie...

I really liked the novel My Sister's Keeper, but I was kind of let down by the movie. Judging from the previews, it looked really good to me. I don't
know, I feel like if I hadn't read the book I would have liked the movie a lot more. I actually think I liked the difference between the novel and the
movie, but I was caught very off-guard.
