ahhh...so much to say about this. all y'all's comments about it had me stoked to watch. i her! for some reason this interview reminded me of something that reba said about kelly, something along the lines of, "not only is she an incredible singer, she's also a really great person." that is so, so, so true. not that this is new knowledge or a surprise to any of us, but i can never get over how 'real' this girl is. she is wise beyond her years, and is on the right track, that's for sure. love her insights about the music industry versus how she wants to live her life and handle her career, yet she doesnt come off like she's looking down on or dissing artists who take other roads (eg, the lady gaga talk...very respectful and kind.) i agree w/ y'all...this interviewer and her jived very well and it flowed great. it's cool to know what the 'love them more' tat means, and it's awesome that kelly tries to be mindful of such a thing... those are very wise words, and very true words, but also words that are very hard to live by (at least in my case, haha). maybe i need to get a tat on my wrist that says 'dont be a b*tch', lol... but, anyway, i digress...kc seems to think a lot of her step-dad, and he seems to have made a very big impact on her formative years. props to him. oh, and, woooooooohoooooooo, to the EAIA talk...the girl better get us that song
well, i could say more but i gotta shut up...my posts are always too damn long, haha, plus i got a song to write. bottom line is...as usual, kc's got it goin' on. however, i'm still holding out for 'parfums a la kelly' (w/ the delicate fragrance of chivas, perhaps??), and the day she wears a zippered eye patch or fireworking bustier
