I think the negative weight talk has SOME impact on her popularity. Let's face it, a lot of people, many of whom were on board during "Breakaway", are pretty shallow. They want a sexy, pop starlet Kelly. What's funny to me is I think Kelly looks absolutely gorgeous this era and she's still received more negative attention for her weight than she has in the past. She really glows in a lot of these interviews lately. She looks happy and she's enjoying herself. I think more than anything people can pick up on that.

If anyone stops being a fan of Kelly because of her appearance, then good riddance to them. The last thing anyone needs is fair-weather fans. I would love it
if all the shallow, fame and looks obsessed band-wagon jumpers took a hike, and left us with those who appreciate her as an artist and a person. I don't
need Kelly to be super-successful to be happy. As long as she continues to release music that comes from her heart I will be content, regardless of how many
copies she sells or what chart position she achieves.

I've haven't followed every post lately, so can someone please confirm, deny, place in rumor column. My local station just played Kelly and said when
she and David Cook complete their fair tours this summer they'll be touring together this fall. Has anyone heard this before?

Hmm.. I don't see anything on his fansites about that although I do know he wants to tour until the winter hopefully. Plus he's touring with Green
Ordinance River right now so I'm pretty sure it's just a rumor. Kelly and David are my two favorite idol winners but they have two different fanbases
that I don't think would work together.

David's last date is only a little later than Kelly's so it's possible but I don't think it's true. I would LOVE it, but yeah he has a few
horrible fans. Maybe he wants to get some normal fans like Kelly has haha. I don't know if they would be rude to her though or anything, since they latched
onto Ryan Star pretty quickly (although he's not like Kelly but still). I'd think if he was opening up he would want to open up for someone known for
being rock though.

If Kelly tours with David Cook on a co-headlining tour, it just seems like "been there, done that". Kelly has already co-headlined a tour with a
former Idol contestant. It was fine for 2004, but I think it's a little outdated for 2009.

I emailed the DJ and she hasnt yet responded, so we'll see. I think its a nice fit. I know its another Idol, but there would be no doubt who the top banana
is--this is not 7 years ago.
