rant- so my so called friend keeps bringing me down. most of the time i try to see the best in every situation but she keeps bringing me down. HONESTLY wtf
.she just asked me why am i soo cheerful after doing 4 hours of math work and i said cause i am kinda excited for this competition now after being told i have
a good chance of being in the top 5. i was so angry about it yesterday but today after doing it i had a good time and met new ppl.

Too much info.
Anti-rant: Luncheon at work!!! It was so fun... worked a full day today but it was nice. Plus, the owner of the company sent me an e-mail saying he really appreciated everything I've done for them this week (the other girl quit (thank God)). It is always nice to see people recognize your hard-work.

Anti-rant: Tonight we went to downtown Montreal to see a comedy show, it was hysterical.
Rant: When I'm at home in Australia, for those people who hear me talk for the first time, they often ask if I'm Canadian. My Aussie accent isn't a stereotypical strong one and it has a few influences in it from the many travels I have been on... So tonight at the comedy show, the comedian asked if there were any international guests so I raised my hand... he asked where I was from so I said Australia. He made me talk some more and then announced to everyone there that I was a Texan, trying not to let the Canadians know that I was an American. Then he kept laughing at me all night haha. Of course, there just happened to be people from Perth there who sounded super Aussie so he kept comparing them to me and laughing some more. Ugh. |
