I was one of the people wanting to wait for IDNHU to fall before AG was released, and now I am 100% ready. I will never rreally understand why IDNHU didnt do better, but it did well. I do think that AG will help rocket this album back up. Im gonna say AG will reach at least #6 on the hot 100.

Hook up was just a song that didnt have a target audience really. I mean, parents aren't really gonna wanna buy their pre-teen a song about hooking up, whether or not if its promoting it. Kids should be thinking about toys and candy and stuff. Teens either don't like pop at all, or they like Gaga/Swift/Cyrus/Perry at the moment. And a good portion of adults hook up on a regular basis, and buying the single would be pretty hypocritical. And the portion of the population that truly does not hook up.... well they may want to be hooking up too, but havent been given the chance. haha the funny thing about this song, I never thought it sounded preachy at all. Maybe some took it as preachy though. It will always be the #1 hit that should have been in my book though.
