The governor of South Carolina was MIA for about 3 days last week now the Governor of Alaska quit...kind of random. Not to mention North Korea is threatening to launch a long range missile at Hawaii on July 4th...but that little tidbit of news is difficult to find in the midst of who's the daddy of Michael Jackson kids.

Yeah sooz sadly, North Korea is a huge threat to international peace right now. The US would of course shoot it down, Obama has already ordered the appropriate defense in the Hawaiian theatre, but the fact that they would attempt it or even threaten to do it, is quite serious. They've been launching short range missiles all week just to piss people off. If you watch CNN you'll hear about it for about 5 minutes and then back to the all important picking apart Michael Jackson's entire life and death.

Although I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a little fascinated with the whole MJ case Rant: Stupid me applied for a great looking job forgetting to look into whether I can even GET there (via public transportation) since I don't drive. I'm looking on the Google map now and it appears to be way beyond where I thought it was. Grrrrrr.
