I was a little distracted last night while watching Idol, but I thought it was a pretty solid night. I'll admit I left the room about 30 seconds into DeAndre's performance, so I can't exactly say how he did, but what I heard sounded pretty much on par with what he's done every other week.

I was glad Hollie sang a more uptempo song, and I thought the song suited her very well, but I can't say that it was a great performance. I liked Jennifer's comment to her - I think she's exactly right about her. She just needs to sing the song and not think too much about everything else. I think the judges are being a little harsh with her, but they're just doing it because they know she's better than she's been the last few weeks. I'm worried for her tonight though.

Jessica, Phillip, and Elise were solid. Skylar was pretty good as well. While Joshua is definitely a great vocalist, I'm glad Gwen Stefani told him to tone down the vocal acrobatics. He's been over-singing EVERY song. He was good again this week.

Since I was so distracted last night, I can't remember who I thought should have been in the bottom 3, but I'm guessing DeAndre and Hollie will be there for sure.
