I don't pick up much of a distinct accent in Florida.

My brother-in-law from Chicago says we don't even try to say the syllables.  Ha.
Florida is not really "southern", but the closer you get to the border the more Georgian it starts to sound. Natives from more rural areas around the state though definitely have southern accents that sort of sound distinct to me, but I might just be making that up, lol. I don't really have an ear for it. Also, you should remind your brother-in-law that Chicagoans definitely have an accent of their own, lol. My dad who has been in Florida for 20 years now still slips into it whenever he's around his brothers. They're Italian-American too so it's even worse, lol. "Chicaaaaaago". "One, two, tree".

Anyway, I'm sorry, I got sucked into the off-topic convo, lol. So here:
"Omgz Kelly & Brandon are so adorbs! I'm thinking a white trash themed wedding! Kelly can break out the American flag bra again!"
There. Back on track smiley: smile.
