Can anyone please be so kind to explain this to me?
I don't get it.

It's just a sarcastic way of saying 'too bad' or 'deal with it'.
Yep, that's it.

Once the milk runs dry, the kitties can whine all they want and continue to try, but the situation will not change.  It's best to give up and accept it.smiley: laugh

Oooohhh
Now I get it
Thank you both

Remember recently someone on the board said, "Touch wood" about something, but the expression is "Knock wood" for us in the U.S.  I'd never heard "touch wood" before, but I was watching Downton Abbey last night, where Matthew Cawley came home safe on leave from the war.  He said "touch wood" and Lord Grantham said, "Believe me, I touch wood all the time."   smiley: laugh  Made me laugh for real.
