So this is my review from Kelly at Forest National in Brussels. I bet it’s gonna be long as I end up telling loads of random stuff LOL

Some background road trip info first as this is always fun altho it has nothing to do with Kelly. So first of all there were like 2 road works on the highway which were really annoying and time consuming. Also very confusing as they didn’t paint over the white lines and painted new ones. Esp. a problem while driving home when it was dark. Oh well, Belgians have never been great at road signs, which we noticed again while looking for the venue once inside Brussels. So after some frantic driving and searching we finally noticed the first sign leading us to Forest National, but the next sign was like 2 km ahead, so pple might have gotten lost on their way LOL Funny now but not back then. So we finally found the Forest and I immediately noticed that people were already Qing outside. Thought it wouldn’t be that bad since most ppl for Manchester only arrived after 4. So then we started Qing at 4.30 and lucky us the sun was shining and it was 11°. We so wud’ve frozen our butts off otherwise as I was only wearing my UK street team shirt and a jumper. I saw many people running aroung with envelopes containing tickets some time before 6. I think they got their tix only then as the show wasn’t sold out. (max.capacity 7000) At the same time security guards came outside and opened all the doors but still kept us waiting for like 15 mins, bugger. And when they finally let us in, it turned out that we were in the wrong Q as it went really slow cuz they had to take backpacks off some ppl. But sepdite that we finally managed 3rd row in front of the catwalk, yay. Some ppl decided to sit down (why did u come early then?) and others were lining up on the sodes of the catwalk, but as I knew from before, beteer be a few rows back in the centre than on the sides.

Just a quick note on merchandise prices here. I love the Euro. Basically all the items were the same price but in a different currency, hell yeh, so I got 2 posters for 10€. T-shirts were 25€ but still cheaper than in the UK. The hoodie was more expensive though, going for 55€.

When we finally were inside at 6.30 we still had to wait 1h30 for the support and my feet and legs started to hurt. So at 8 Katerine came on stage. I wasn’t really a fan of her performance as she didn’t wear much and had 2 dancers and they are were shaking their butts way too much if you ask me. Dunno why she did that as she supposedly is a good singer. She was miming to some songs which I found a bit annoying, esp. as the music was incredibly loud. Oh well, not everyone can be The Faders I guess LOL.

As it was finally 9 I was impatient to see Kelly. ACDC started playing while the lights were still on and I was shouting like crazy, ppl around were giving mee looks like: why the heck is he screaming to this song? Haha. Then the lights finally wnet out and the whole crowd started screaming as well. Everyone went mad when Kelly finally came on. I absolutely loved her outfit, really cool, the top just like the trousers. I was surprised at the Brussels crowd although I noticed that almost everyone at the left pf the catwalk wasn’t jumping along during Gone i.e. or going mad during the songs. But where I was standing everyone was jumping along so that was cool. Kelly thanked us for singing along during BOY and told us it meant a lot to her, which I found so sweet again of her. I was touched. When she was about to sing Why she asked if there were any Annie Lennox fans in the house but I didn’t here many cheers. The woman next to me was aking the guy she was with what the name of the song was again and as I was telling my friend at the same time at a rather loud volume what it was she went like OH, which I found funny. She was singing along just like I did, so I guess she knew Annie’s version, which was cool. I wasn’t the only one singing then. But I turned out to be during Come Here. I seemed to be the only one of those around me singing so I kept the volume down as my singing is terrible LOL. I felt special to be the only one to know the lyrics. But as I read ppl a bit behind me knew the lyrics as well so go us! Generally speaking bout the show, it was ace again, as usual. Kelly at her best. I have seen better crowds but the ppl still rocked. I also noticed some small changes, at least I think they were. Danny (I hope that’s his name, I still get the band members’ names worng, the bass player I mean) was doing some back-up vocals on Why which was really cool. They alspo changed the lights during BTHE. No longer blue but in the yellow-orange-red light spectrum. And during Breakaway I saw a violin coming up on stage in the middle of the song, didn’t pay attention to it playing though as I was singing along, silly me LOL.

So that’s it. Here are some of my pics. They might look a bit odd as I modified them slightly, (colours, etc.) They were all foggy before.

EDIT: no pics so far as I dunno how to post them. Any help?? LOL I'm lost
