I agree. I'm over the comments about people having previous albums trying out for Idol. As Joanna said, it just didn't work out, and you know what, it may not be her fault. None of us know the background. She is looking for another opportunity to do what she loves and hopefully find the right people to help catapult her career. Good for her, I say. IF anything it could be something we know all too well - lack of marketing, no real help from the label/mgmt, etc... that makes a difference. She has the talent, now she just needs the people to help get the talent heard.

It's not like we have established stars who aren't in the limelight anymore coming to Idol to re-energize their career. We have people - who, to the majority of the world - are unknown and trying to make it. If they're so unknown to so many people, how can you say they are "established" and have already "flopped?"
