This movie made the rounds of film festivals in 2007. Although I don't think it was ever released in theaters in the US (it was released elsewhere around the world) it is scheduled to have its television premiere in the States on May 10, 2008. Painful, horrific, disturbing movie, and sadly a true story. Ellen Page and Catherine Keener are brilliant in it.
YOU SAW AN AMERICAN CRIME!? Where!!!? I've been waiting for it for MONTHS! I saw The girl next door when it came out and it was horrible. Then I looked on IMDB and read about AAC. When I looked at the lead I didn't know who she was really...just remembered her from the tracey fragments. I love her now though lol anyway I know it comes out in May on HBO..but is there any place I can watch it before? ps. I love your non-mainstream movie choices
