I saw a few recently - some good, some not so good.

Amelia - Overall I enjoyed it. I do think they could have done a bit more with the story, but what they did do worked. And Hilary Swank always gives fantastic performances. It was very easy to believe her as Amelia.

An Education - I had no expectations for this movie, really. And I'm going to be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be that great. I had to watch this one for work, and was completely surprised by how great of a movie it was. Carey Mulligan gave one hell of a good performance. I don't think I had ever seen her in anything else before (though I could be wrong), but she really impressed me. I recommend this one.

Zombieland - Hilarious! I seriously loved this one from begining to end. And I so wanted a Twinkie when I left the theatre.

The Invention Of Lying - I really liked the idea behind this movie. It was different and refreshing and the humor worked. Jennifer Garner's first line in this movie is an instant classic. It had me laughing out loud. Unfortunately, I think this film sort of got buried under a pile of bigger movies that came out at the same time it did. But it's still definitely worth watching I think.

Couples Retreat - This one disappointed me a little. I think when you see a cast involving Vince Vaugh, Kristen Bell, etc. you expect a certain kind of humor level. And it turns out the movie is a lot more of a romantic movie than it is a comedy. Don't get me wrong, it has it's funny moments and it's good jokes. But overall, it was much more of a relationship movie sprinkled with little funny moments. Not your typical Vince Vaughn humor. It was good, but I found it was lacking a little something.

It Might Get Loud - I'm a music lover, so I LOVED that one from start to finish.
