My december of course! i actually listened to all three albums today in order. And i prefer thankful over breakaway. Breakaway to me sort of makes me lose
interest after addicted and only gain interest again with hear me and bd. Dont get me wrong, i love breakaway but i hope she doesnt make another breakaway. I
know some people love such commercial stuff but its just me... My december just grabs my attention from i hope the ring right until i love you chivas!

I think Breakaway had the couple of a mega-hits, but My December is my favorite because every song is a hit. It also has so many different styles of songs.
They are both great though, and I could see myself listening to both in 30 years.

i love Breakaway, it's a solidly constructed pop-rock album which is an amazing accomplishment.. there aren't really any songs on there that I
don't like.
But i have to say that My December takes it for me. While there are a few songs that I don't like (DWYT, Judas, Haunted) and a couple I don't really care for... it has a few songs that I think are some of the best stuff Kelly has ever done. Irvine is the best song she has ever written, Sober probably her 2nd best.. Chivas is great sassy soul.. Hole is crazy-good.. NA is great.. How I Feel has some awesomely fun lyrics.. overall it's more of a artist's album than Breakaway which, in my opinion, is very solid and catchy manufactured pop (nothing wrong with that of course, i just think Kelly is better than that). |

Oh they're ALL good!!!! My favorite is MD for the raw soul she put into many of the songs on the record. I too am not that crazy about all songs, but there
are plenty of excellent, artistic songs.
Breakaway is a very close second though. Lots of great stuff on there. Thankful is decent too though....definitely a solid debut. |
