That's pretty close to Fan Fair time, isn't it? Damn, my cousin's husband is not gonna be happy. He works right in downtown Nashville and
freakin' HATES it during the summer when they close off every street and freeway he uses due to Fan Fair. lol

Heads up to Country Weekly subscribers:
Country Weekly is returning to its weekly publication schedule and dropping its subscription component to be available exclusively on newsstands, reports AdAge.com. The publication's parent company, American Media, says the move will help the 15-year-old magazine stay afloat during the rough economy. The plan includes printing 52 issues a year and lowering the cover price from $3.49 to $2.49 to boost sales. It is expected that about 75,000 copies per issue will be sold, according to AdAge.com. This is a significant reduction from the current combined total of newsstand purchasers and 325,000 subscribers that now guarantee advertisers a paid audience of around 435,000. The article goes on to say that issues dated Feb. 23 will be the last sent via subscription, at which time subscribers can ask for a refund or switch to another American Media magazine such as Star, Shape or National Enquirer. |
