Anyone excited about the Watchmen today? I hope they do the book justice. I've been waiting twenty years for a Watchmen movie, and it's just my luck
that I'm terribly sick on opening day. I'm really out of it, but there's no way I'm missing it. It should be pretty action packed, so that
should keep me awake for the almost 3 hour running time. From what I've seen so far, I'm expecting to be blown away.

I hope the movie itself only has a score and the rock songs I've heard are only on the CD or over the end credits.

I tend to like books better than the movie so I am reserving that until I watch the movie.
It looks pretty damn amazing though and I hope I'm not let down. |

one of the actors in the movie goes to my school! it's a small part but apparently gruesome

My brother said he really liked it. I'll prolly go see it later this weekend. I dunno if it can top Gran Turino though. I finally saw that last week...

In most ways it was phenominal. Very powerful and intense. They did an unprecendented job at capturing the feel and texture of the graphic novel. Makes most
other comic related movies seem like a saturday afternoon kidee matinee. My only complaint is about changes that were made from the book, but they still
didn't keep me from thinking it was amazing. Be warned, though, that you need a strong stomach for this. It contains some of the most gruesome images
I've seen in a mainstream film.

it was similar to Sin City. The whole dark feel with gruesome action and a lot of narration. It was also really long. I liked it for the most part, except for
minor things.
