I think I'm going to watch when it really starts. I watched the first 45 minutes but it was a bit boring and the judges annoy me... can't wait for the
real competition to start though.
I would never try out because I'm not good but I wish someone I knew would because I know a lot of great dancers haha! |

PISSED that the cute guy who danced with his brother didn't make it. I thought they were awesome!
So glad that Katie's friend from last year came back. I really wanted them both to make it. Katie was the better choice of the two, imo. Good show tonight, not great. Just good. Seemed like a lot of crappy filler, though - we ended up fast forwarding most of it. |

Natalie and the guy who went after her .... were absolutely amazing. And everytime Mary laughs or cries, I do the same. Dangit! lol
I too, was PISSED that the pop-locking boy (who auditioned with his brother) didn't make it. I thought he was great! |

^^ so since she has rheumatoid arthritis is it almost a guarantee that she will eventually not be able to dance? I read there is no cure.

She was one of my faves too...she has a very unique look. I was wondering the same thing about her arthritis though.

I saw that Nigel apologized for his 'hompohobic' remarks to the 2 male dancers
it was pretty uncomfortable to watch...i know he's just very traditional about dancing, but i still didn't love how he talked to them |

But yeah, I was a bit uncomfortable with that myself. I can understand the concern because of public opinion, but the job is to critique the DANCING. Even if you're purple, you can still be talented haha! |

ugh that part was totally uncomfortable. i mean, i see where they were coming from in a way...usually guys dance with girls, but i don't see what was so
outrageous about two men dancing together *shrugs*

He had posted Thursday night "The same sex ballroom guys did remind me of "Blades of Glory." However, I'm not a fan of 'Brokeback' Ballroom." In his defense Adam Shankman twittered: "Been a crazy week and let's be clear: nigel is NOT a homophobe in any way! Sytycd is the most gay friendly show on tv, and personally, I think it's unattractive and offputting when guys dance like girls as well unless its in the choreographed intention!" P.S. Friday night Nigel posted: "We have just chosen our Top 20 and informed them. Excellent dancers, exciting prospects and a few risks!!?" Yes, they just informed the top 20 on Friday.
