I used to like Mary too, Christine ... but this season I think she's dipping a little too far into the crazy juice. She's just too over-the-top for me
now.

For some reason, I'm able to tune Mary out. But I did notice how she seems to be screaming more, like even her regular sentences, once she has started
screaming.
lol
I love Adam. |

did anyone else watch this tonight?? i thought the dances overall weren't very exciting. i thought this ep was the least exciting of this season. my
favourite dance was the hip hop meets rock and roll one with brandon and ginette

I really liked Janette, I still don't like Brandon but he did well too. That was the best routine of the night, IMO. The rest were kind of meh.

The entire season is turning into a letdown. I did like The Butt routine.

I'm sure Karla and Jonathan will be in the bottom three. I wish Karla had left last week instead of Ashley. |

Yeah I haven't been super-impressed either. But it's just the beginning, so hopefully by the top 10, things will start to pick up and get more
exciting.
As for last night, I was most disappointed with Asuka and her partner. The routine looked like it could've really rocked, but it looked so limp to me. My favorite was the Vienese (sp?) waltz. It looked beautiful and the Jewel song gave me chills. Still don't have a favorite dancer...I can't seem to latch on to anyone this year. I think the personalities are lacking, imo. |

^^^I too think the personalities are lacking this year. Last year, I LOVED Twitch Katee, Joshua, Chelsea and I could probably add a few more. Heck, I even went
to the show when it came to Austin.
Last night, it seemed like the music didn't match the cheorgaphy. Also, the judges seemed to go on and on and on. No favorites here either. My dh likes a couple of girls but only b/c of their butts, lol. |

Elena - Interesting what you said about the music not matching the choreography. My husband and I thought that way about the samba routine (with the purple
outfits). That's a LATIN number, but the music was more like an orchestra.
Tonight was good. I won't give details yet, but they did mention all the celeb passings this week and played a short clip of MJ's "Thriller" video. |

The best part for me, is always the end of the results show when the girl gets kicked off

Already Gone is the best part.
Ugh at Jonathan leaving and Jason being in the bottom 3 again. They're quickly kicking off all of my eye candy. |

Jonathan was total eye candy! I guess his dance last night was almost painful to watch, but still.
He also looks a little like Jill to me, as in JillandKate. |

I enjoyed the opening dance number and when the girls get kicked off
I was fine with the two they choose to drop from the show. Still no clear favorites. |

It's probably too early to tell. But right now, I think Kayla, Janette, and maybe Randi will make top three. I'm almost sure Karla won't. Not
sure about the other two... but maybe Melissa, Caitlin. Or Jeannine.
The guys: I'm almost sure only about Ade. Then Brandon. And then maybe Evan and Jason. I don't know what they see in Vitolio's solo performances. I thought he was good. Really clean lines. I can understand why they sent Asuka home. But I wish Max had another week. And I know Ashley had a poor solo. But I really thought she dances or is more versatile than two or three of the girls left. |

Karla is a contemporary dancer AND a hip hop choreographer...I think she is more versatile than what has been shown so far. The hip hop routine with her and
jonathan was kind of bad because 1) the choreography kind of sucks, and 2) Jonathan was horrible at it (in movement and timing)..if you just pay attention to
solely Karla, her movements and timing were on point. Even the multiple head nods.

Karla is a contemporary dancer AND a hip hop choreographer...I think she is more versatile than what has been shown so far. I agree... And I think the judges are aware of her talent, that's why they kept her instead of Asuka. And to be honest, the music and the choreographies this season, so far seem underwhelming. But having said that... I was a little disappointed with Karla's hiphop, esp. after learning that she's a hiphop dancer. I was actually hopeful, because I like Dave Scott. But altough Karla was on point, I don't think her moves were hard hitting, at least on that number. I hope she'll improve more, because her contemporary number with Jonathan I think really showed her potential. |

Last night's episode was like the first week for me - every dance was good. I'm glad to see they're all stepping it up, granted, some more than
others. My favorite was the Sonya routine though. I thought it was genius and that the dancers performed so well on that one.

We liked last night as well. LOVED Sonya's routine. She is awesome. I LOVE her LOVE of dance. She practically orgasms doing her job, lol. I was also
touched by the Romeo and Juliet dance. Beautiful.

For the Sonya routine, it would have been so much cooler if it ended with the girl being dragged into the dark (maybe a part of the stage with all shadows and
no light) until she disappears.
