Basically all jobs available have something to do with customer interaction, and I am way to shy for that. Hence, me=failure at life. I can never amount to
anything and probably never will.What am I gonna do?

^^^^^dont beat yourself up like that, girl! it just aint right...or true. being shy is horrible, but it is possible to break out of it. i am proof of that.
when i was a teenager, i was really, really shy, too. i am not at all shy now.
honestly, youre gonna hate to hear this but having jobs like you're talking about, w/ customer service and interaction is what brought me out of my shyness and gave me the confidence to pursue other things. not gonna lie...you will hate it, you will hate the people, etc, but it might just be the growth opportunity you need. (dear God...did i just use the phrase growth opportunity?!?!?!)  seriously, though...i mean it.
whatever you decide to do, just hang in there. i dont know you aside from my computer screen, but i do know that youre not a freakin' failure! |

Rant: I am in work I dont like being in work on the weekends, its a jam packed weekend, I am in here till 6pm, then I am working AC/DC tomorrow from
9am..eek horrible no minutes to myself.
Rant #2: I have allergies real bad, but i also think I am getting sick with the flu/cold and its also that time of the month - how many things can one person have at one time lol Anti-Rant: Good thing I am taking Monday off haha |

Kelly2Kelly - i used to be really shy as well, but i got a job in retail (and with the help of a friend) became a lot more confident with myself and was able
to interact with customers. it is horrible at first, but after a while the interaction starts becoming easier. hang in there!

. You have over 3,000 posts here ~ the 3D world
isn't much different than here in 2D ~ we love you, they'll love you.
There aren't a lot of jobs out there period right now, but maybe you'll find one where you don't have a ton of interaction with customers (like a grocery bagger or a movie theater ticket taker/sweeper) to start out. Google 'overcoming shyness' ~ probably a ton of articles and tips for you to read. Hope you have a better day today. |

say I know what you're going through

Kelly- I was really shy too... but then I got a job as a Receptionist and it really helped. It was hard at first but now I won't shut up at my job!
