I complained about the same thing (morals are such a downer some times) and she gave me the "stop looking" line. Only she follwed it with I have some great guys to introduce you to...too bad I'm in Nashville and your in NYC

No kidding, when someone asks me WHY I'm single, I want to strangle them. Like as if I'm beating guys off with a stick! Like it's my choice! Like as if I did know why I would fix the probem?! I'm so sick and tired of hearing that things come when you least expect it. ###$%%!*. I have friends who have doen online dating but I just can't do it... I'm clearly at a very low point (did anyone watch The Holiday?? lol ) because I was coming here to rant about how I'm happy for my friend getting married this weekend (even though some days she borders on bridezilla, lol) but i am internally dreading being part of the wedding party, at the center of attention for most of the day, wearing a dress I so don't feel comfortable in and that imo does not flatter me, while the other girls are stick thin, the dress looks perfect on them, and they (especially the bride) are just so gorgeous..... I just wish I didn't care and could just try to have a good time but I feel the insecurity is really going to get to me...

Also didnt know my rant would help other people always a nice feeling when it helps other people! Also am a little creeped out that that 3 of us had the same thoughts at the same time! lol! Gotta Love Kelly for bringing fans together!! Thankfully I'm busy most of the time and am able to just live life. The last couple times i've just sat back and enjoyed life things happened (ie my last relationship or a guy showing interest to date me) So I'm going to continue enjoying life hanging with friends and working my ass off for now since its the summer and then work my ass off getting good grades my last semester of college this fall. Like I said I'm 23 I've got the rest of my life ahead of me still!! (Love when I have this positive mentality which is most of the time but liek everyone else I have my moments) Thanks y'all for putting up with my rants!

Seems to me not too long ago, I wrote a whole f*cking book about the misery of being single ~ including passages/chapters about weddings, fixing what's wrong with me, and the dreaded 'why are you still single?" question. So pretty much this whole discussion is a 20-year-long deja vu. I'm pretty much over it now. I don't have much of a choice. Oh, and the one night stands? They were kinda fun, gotta say, but it gets old fast. However, at this point, I'd pay good money for a few more before I kick the bucket.
