I need some more time to get to expert level. I think on KC I am still a novice. Just to let you know my learning curve....hahahaha.

I corrected my post about the song. I am still ramping up my Sara B. knowledge.

I just wondered if it was my ignorance. It wouldn't be the first time (when I first heard her version of Blackbird years ago I thought she wrote it. Yeah,
I deserve to be punched for that. haha).

it was actually red that someone asked her to sing on monday night that she couldn't remember. from the careful confessions ep that was out before little
voice. is it sad that when she stopped singing, i kept going?? ha. so did another girl in the audience. she was like oh you guys know it better than me ha.

also, someone on a sara b forum that i read posted full audio from monday night's show at joe's pub. the quality is pretty decent, but it's in one
big continuous file with all of her "word vomit." it's like being there all over again! here's a link to download courtesy of luckydave:

and if someone with magic musical talents makes it in to individual tracks, i might just love you forever.... |

some one asked her to sing red last night at the concert and she said something to the effect of no, but i'm impressed that you even know that song. you
win... or points for you, something along those lines. she was amazing both nights in boston. i have a couple of pictures i posted over on sara's board,
thought some of you might enjoy them as well. i am completely and utterly obsessed with her voice after these two shows. i'd seen her live 5 times before
this week and the shows being more stripped down really showcases her voice. amazing doesn't begin to describe it.

Sara = Love. I saw her three times in the past week and each time she is just
.
Last night takes the cake though (or more importantly the B-day cake!). She was on fire. The crowd was the best of the week. I posted a full review on Sara's board if anyone wants the rest of the details. http://manythemiles.yuku.com/topic/137 |

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's how I feel right now. Sara seriously gets more awesome every time I see her. I somehow managed to get the entire show on video which should only take about 18 million years to upload, but I'll work on it. The video is clear, but not from close up, so it's not the greatest but hey...take what you can get people haha. Most importantly, the audio is clear! I'm excited!!! |

I think I finally got "mostly" everything uploaded and converted and sent to Russia for verification and back....phew.... I still haven't gotten
the videos uploaded from Monday night...the files are almost too huge for Youtube, so I'll work on another way...
But for now, here's the links: Zip File of Audio from 2/23 @ World Cafe: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0oudvj Zip File of Audio from 2/24 @ World Cafe: http://www.sendspace.com/file/nlq31i Video Playlist from 2/24 @ World Cafe: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=64CFFD213AB2425A |

I went to the show in Toronto tonight and it was fantastic. The setlist was similar to the one posted earlier, the main difference being that she started with
"Undertow" instead of "Goodbye Song". I was able to sit in the second row so that was pretty amazing. The church was pretty small and held
maybe 500-1000 people. I got some videos (Fairytale, Free Ride, Gonna Get Over You, Gravity, and the I'm on Fire duet) but for some reason the sound
isn't amazing, the instrumentals seem much louder than her vocals. I may upload a few of them to Youtube. "Gonna Get Over You" was by far my
favourite of the new songs, and her U2 cover was awesome as well.
Sara was really funny. She kept commenting about how she was trying not to swear because we were in a church, and also making fun of the fact that she was walking around in stripper shoes in a church. |

^That venue sounds awesome. Were you sitting in a pew?
Thanks for trying to get some media as well. I am really digging Gonna Get Over You as well. The only sad part is that it won't be released until the next album comes out. |

Does anybody know where I can get mp3s of the songs from this tour ? Specifically I'm looking for Come Round Soon (I LOVE the
sexy, funkified version!), Gonna Get Over You (frickin awesome and had it stuck in my head for days! lol) and Free Ride. Oh, and the U2 cover would be swell
too because I love that song to begin with and she did great with it.
Saw her on Thursday and Ijusthad a blast. She's just ridiculous. She really is. And I never realized howfunny she canbe!! We were in stitches a few times! It's not just what she says, it's her facial expressions sometimes, lol Anyway, some random stories I remember were obviously the Bono story, also about her mother at the grammys and sitting next to Ludacris and all these rappers and having no clue who they are "Oh, he has an ... interesting name...",about how she had to tell us that they were starting a new preshow ritual and that they now play hide and seek and that she was hidingunder the table with the food "becauseI felt you had to know that. And you already paid for the ticket it so f*** it, you're mine now!" lol,The story about how she'd used to write to Tony Lucca and that he hasn't written back yet. And, news to me,that SHE actually auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club! She said she remembered the day she didn't get the call and she found her diary entry and it was like it was the end of the world, lol One realy funny part though was how she was talking about the Grammys and someone yelled out "You should have won!!" and she replied that she didn't give a f*** (she swore a LOT btw, haha) because she had the "best seat ever to an awesome show with U2, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder... the Jonas... Broth...ersss..... they're.... awesome....." and then she trails off with this look on her face that had the whole rooom cracking up as well as her band. She starts laughing and then she's like "DON'T PUT THAT ON YOUTUBE!! Oh man, I'm gonna get in trouble... Shut up Sara!" lol My only complaint was that I found the show too short! Or maybe I was enjoying myself too much. I went with my friend and my cousin who basically only new Love Song and to give you an idea, till two days before, my friend thought that that song was sung by Jordin Sparks, lol But by the end of the show, they were just in awe of Sara. Converted! Oh, we(Sara and I) also kinda had a moment, haha She started talking about how this was her second time in Montreal and that she had come 2 years ago and that it was the coldest place she had ever been to and that her snots were "frozen to my face" and shecouldn't understand why anyone would live here... until she actually walked around the city and loved it.For the record, and as Crystal can testify, the year she came it was record cold temperatures where it was -30C, but with the windsheild it was -50C!! But on Thursday, was like 7C, so a HUGE difference! Anyways, she stopped herself at one point and asks "Was anyone even there at the show???" because she was essentially a nobody at the time, lol SoI scream out "WHOOO!" and we're sitting like 7 ft from her, haha So she looks right at me and she's like "REALLY??" with a huge smile on her faceand, because I'm a loser, I blurt out "I helped with your merchandise!" (Cause Crys and I did! And we actually met her and the band a few times in the span of 2 days, but i wasn't going to go into that The show was a little bit different from the set list I read here. She started with Undertow, performed everything else but for the encore right before Gravity, she sang Bruce Springsteen's I'm on Fire with Tony Lucca. It was hot. He's really good too! Didn't know him at all before. Speaking of him, he's been doing daily journals while on the tour and posting them on Facebook and the one of the night in Montreal is pretty frickin funny because Sara raps in it! haha They seem like such a fun crew to hang out with. Sadly, not much else yet (assuming there ever will be) from montreal on YouTube. And of course, none of mine came out good and I have only two pictures that are clear |

I love Sara Bareilles. Her song "Gravity" is one of my all time favorites. I actually did a cover of it and posted it on youtube.
