yeah i agree taylor is way talented and is a supper girl just to meet in general. if you guys get the chance meet her but beware she has the strongest handshake i have ever witnessed

Cool story.. I love Taylor's CD. I'm seeing her open for Brad in September. I can't wait!
 I think it's the first time I've ever gone to a concert and actually been excited for the opening act.

Did anyone pick up Taylor's Christmas album that came out today? Apparently it's available only at Target. I went to my Target this afternoon and they
were all sold out. So were about 5 other stores in my area. Just wondering if anyone has it and how they like it? I've only heard the short clips on her
web site.

It's something like a holiday collection from NBC called Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Collection. I saw today that Elliot Yamin also has one out.
There's only 6 songs on there but it's better than nothing! I think 4 of them are covers of classic Christmas songs and 2 are originals.

there was a thread for her.
I wasn't too keen on Taylor at first (didn't care much for that "Tim McGraw" song), but this girl is really growing on me. I absolutely LOVE Teardrops on my Guitar. My husband downloaded that and a faster song of hers, but I'm not sure if he dl'ed the whole album or not. Evan - okay, I'm embarrassed to ask, but who's who in that picture you posted? Taylor is the tall girl I think, right? |

I met Taylor in June at a listener appreciation concert here in Fresno. Apparently our #1 country station gave Taylor more spins than any other radio station
in the country, so she came out and did a really small, intimate performance and brought along Jack Ingram to open for her. It was a great concert and she was
SUCH a sweetheart. She's very genuine and totally down to earth. I was very glad to have the opportunity to meet her.
I went to Target on Monday to get her Christmas album but it was NOWHERE to be found. I went to 3 different ones and none of them had it!

I didn't pay much attention to her until "Teardrops On My Guitar"....something about that song....I don't know. It was stuck in my head. Her
cd is really good. She's a very talented songwriter. I posted a link in the Kellie Pickler Concert Thread on the American Idol forum here on the express to
the song Taylor and Kellie wrote together. It's really good.

I picked up the Christmas cd at Target today! It's great as usual. She has a unique cover of Silent Night on there and I love both of the original songs. I
just wish there were more than 6 songs on the album!

Taylor is like THE 'IT' girl right now! She's at #1 on Country (Our Song) and #13 on POP (Teardrops on my Guitar) with a HUGE bullet (over 900) on
both!

I wonder if they will go for crossover on POP with Our Song? I think it would definitely fit. If they do, I wonder if they will 'tweak' it a little like they did with Teardrops on my Guitar, to make it just a hair more poppy? Either way, girl is on FIRE! Couldn't happen to a nicer person from what I see/hear. I wanted to buy her Xmas cd off ITUNES (if it's there) but I still don't have my puter back from being fixed. UGH. Is it being sold at Walmart/KMart and such or just at Target? |
